Terms of Service
Last updated: June 26, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SetCut, including our website, account pages, subscription checkout, downloads, desktop software, and related services. By using SetCut, you agree to these Terms.
Use of SetCut
SetCut is an AI-powered multi-cam editor for DJs and music creators. You may use SetCut to upload footage and audio, create edits, generate clips, export content, and manage related workflows.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account, license key, and devices secure. You must provide accurate account and billing information and notify us if you believe your account or license key has been misused.
Subscriptions and Billing
Some SetCut features require a paid subscription. Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Prices, billing periods, renewals, trials, and cancellation options will be shown during checkout or in the billing portal. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
If you cancel, your access may continue until the end of the paid billing period. Refunds are provided only where required by law or expressly stated by SetCut.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the video, audio, images, text, and other materials you upload to SetCut. You grant SetCut a limited license to process, store, edit, export, and transmit your content only as needed to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for having all rights needed to upload, edit, publish, and share your content, including rights to music, performances, footage, images, venues, people, trademarks, and platform accounts.
Third-Party Platforms
SetCut may connect with services such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Stripe, Cloudflare, and other tools. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and policies. If you use YouTube API Services through SetCut, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.
Acceptable Use
You may not use SetCut to violate laws, infringe intellectual property rights, upload malicious files, attempt unauthorized access, abuse platform integrations, interfere with the service, or publish content you do not have permission to use.
Software Downloads and License Checks
SetCut software may require an active subscription and license verification to function. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue software features. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or bypass license checks except where allowed by law.
AI and Editing Results
SetCut uses automated tools to sync media, select angles, create edits, and generate clips. Results may vary. You are responsible for reviewing exports before publishing or sharing them.
Service Availability
We work to keep SetCut reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change as the product improves.
Disclaimers
SetCut is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SetCut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost content, or lost business opportunities.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, fail to pay subscription fees, or create risk for SetCut, users, or third parties.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SetCut after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
