SetCut helps DJs and music creators turn recorded performances into edited video content. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using our website, account pages, payment flow, and related software.

Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, subscription status, license key, and basic support messages you send us.

If you use SetCut software, we may process project information such as uploaded video files, audio files, file names, edit settings, generated clips, export settings, device identifiers, app version, and license verification activity.

We may also collect website usage information such as browser type, pages visited, approximate location, referring pages, and technical logs used to keep the service secure and reliable.

Payments

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. SetCut does not store full credit card numbers. Stripe may collect and process payment details, billing information, tax information, and fraud prevention signals according to Stripe's own policies.

Video, Audio, and YouTube Data

SetCut is designed to work with your DJ footage, audio recordings, and exported content. If you connect YouTube or another platform, we use that access only to provide the features you request, such as preparing or publishing content. We do not sell your video, audio, or YouTube account data.

If SetCut uses YouTube API Services, your use is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and improve SetCut, create and manage accounts, verify active subscriptions, process payments, generate edits and clips, deliver downloads, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate SetCut, including hosting, storage, payment processing, analytics, customer support, and security providers. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide SetCut, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Project files and generated media may be deleted according to product settings, storage limits, or user requests.

Your Choices

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You may also disconnect third-party integrations, cancel subscriptions through the billing portal, or stop using the service at any time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect SetCut accounts, license keys, uploads, and payment workflows.

Children

SetCut is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
